See Manatees in Florida

Mayhem's Report:

My family and I went to a Manatee Preserve in Florida. It had a factory thing next to it and a lot of Palm Trees. The factory is in Apollo Beach. It was free.

The water near the factory was warm. In cold weather, the warm water attracts the Manatees. We thought we saw a manatee, but it turned out to be a shark! We also saw long fish, they had to be up to 10' or 20' long! These fish were called Tarpons.

Manatees are awesome!!!!!!! I learned a lot about Manatees. Manatees are sometimes known as sea cows, and the first manatees were thought to be mermaids. Manatees do not breathe water, they are mammals. My trip to the Manatee Preserve in Florida was fun.
