- 1 - National Pig Day - Hooray! I love Pigs. Make homemade clay and make a pig today. It is also Peanut Butter Day, we've got some fun things to do with Peanut Butter. Peanut Butter Recipes and Peanut Butter Brownies.
- 2 - Dr. Seuss Day - Celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday with a fake surprise cake and Sue Snue or Daisy Head Maisy Activities for Kids or maybe some Cat and the Hat Birthday Party Favors. March 2nd is also Read Across America Day.
- 3 - In the United States is National Anthem Day - The Star Spangled Banner became our National Anthem on this day in 1931. Patriotic Crafts and Activities

- 8 - International Women's Day and Working Woman Day
- 9 - This Blogger's Birthday - Make a cake to celebrate, Oh and it is also another lovely ladies birthday, Barbie! Oh my, she is only a decade older than me, how can that be? Yes, Barbie's Birthday is today.
- 10 - Genealogy Day - This is a great day to design a family tree. Here is a free family tree printable.
- 11 - First Basketball Game. Know who invented the basketball? How about celebrating with a game to play in the classroom or learning about things to do in Indiana (this blog's hometown).
- 12 - Girl Scouts was founded - We've got lots of activities and articles about Girl Scouts. In celebration, plan a community service project for girls.
- 13 - Good Samaritan Day - Plan a random act of kindness. Today is also the day the planet Uranus was discovered. How about doing some futuristic activities for kids?
