What mom doesn't have the theme song form Phineas and Ferb stuck in her head? I think it was my daughter's first words! One day, she was toddling across the floor and the next, she was shouting, "Mom, Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!" Do what now? Well ever since then, I hum about 104 days of summer vacation.

Did you hear the news? "Mom! Phineas and Ferb are going on a live tour!” Join the Danville Tri-State Area Gang for a high-energy ride through their wildest invention yet in Disney’s Phineas and Ferb: The Best LIVE Tour Ever!  The beloved characters from Disney Channel's animated series embark on a bold escape from the television screen to a live action adventure – right in your hometown! This exciting live stage production performs at BANKERS LIFE FIELDHOUSE in INDIANAPOLISNOVEMBER 4, 2012

Are you kidding me? I get to hear the song live? I'm on it!

Did you know Phineas and Ferb was created by Emmy Award-winning Dan Povenmire ("Family Guy") and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh ("The Simpsons" and "Rocko's Modern Life"), this stand-out comedy series follows Phineas Flynn and his stepbrother, Ferb Fletcher, as they set out to optimize every day of their 104-day summer vacation, dreaming the impossible dream -- and then doing it, including building a rollercoaster or a beach in their own backyard.

Unbeknownst to them, their pet platypus Perry has a double life as suave secret Agent P, deftly battling the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz to save the world.  Meanwhile, older sister Candace is aghast at her brothers' antics and makes it her life's work to tattle on them to Mom and Dad, though somehow she can never seem to catch them red-handed.

Agent P we love you! Perry the Platypus pajamas, t-shirts, toys and the like fill our house. Perry, you are a hero around here. So much so, we've researched putting a pet platypus in our pond. When our cat comes up missing, well the little one knows we don't need to worry- he's off on spy duty.

Guess what! I have the honor of giving you the secret spy code to discount tickets for the Indy show:

Pick Your Own Apples and Fruit: Fall Fun in Mooresville at Anderson's Orchard

U Pick Apples in Indiana: Anderson's Orchard

Looking for a place to pick your own apples or other fruit? We're always looking for fun things to do in Indiana. There are several U-Pick orchards in Indiana. Because of the beautiful location and hilly terrain of Anderson's Orchard in Mooresville, Indiana, it is our favorite. They have a festival every September. Don't miss the fall fun. Enjoy!

Pick your own apples or other fruit in Indiana: Mooresville
A bag like this filled to  the top is about $8.

Anderson Orchard is tucked in the hillsides of Mooresville,  Indiana. Family owned and operated by Paul and Carolyn Anderson since 1969, it offers u-pick on a variety of fruit. Pick your own apples, raspberries, plums. peaches, pears, and pumpkins in the 150-acre farm. Don't miss the beautiful lakes for fishing!

Spend an inexpensive fall aftenoon with family. Grab a bag or box, then hike or drive through the various variety of apples. Kid's will enjoy the beautiful plum trees that look as if they popped right out of a Dr. Seuss story. Stop back at the scale to pay for your goodies and then it is off to the market where you can enjoy a fantastic apple slush for only $1.00 while perusing produce. A playground beckons so don't forget to relax and let the kiddos have some fun.

September is the Apple Festival and Craft Fair. Enjoy fresh apple cider and apple butter made from Anderson Orchard apples. Visit the concession stand for caramel apples, cider slush, and more. Most items are try before you buy with samples available for your tasting pleasure.

Field Trips and Tours are available with advanced registration.
Anderson Orchard is located 2 miles west of Mooresville on Main Street. Approximately one mile west of town, Main Street turns into Greencastle Road, immediately after White Lick Road. Directions

Orcharding seems to be a popular past-time with the Anderson surname in Indiana.
Bud and Gloria Hopkins are the owners of Anderson Orchard at Pleasant View. The orchard has been in operation since the 1930’s. The Hopkins’ purchased the orchard in 1994. They offer U-Pick Pumpkins and a Corn Maze.

Jacob's Orchard in New Castle, Indiana was previously owned by Rex and Patti Anderson. The farm has been an orchard for about eighty years. In the past, it has been the Anderson Orchard, Summit View, and Bowers Orchard. They offer field trips and fresh, doughnuts that go perfect with apple cider. In mid-September be sure to visit for their pumpkins and fall fun including a ginormous haystack.

1 Little Baby Turkey
1 Box Mashed Potatoes

Cook the giant turkey.  Cook the mashed potatoes and stuff inside giant turkey. Cook tiny turkey.  Stuff tiny turkey inside huge turkey.  Serve to guests.

Ahem...  I bought two Cornish game hens.  I can't wait to see his reaction. Unfortunately, I won't be stuffing anything except my face.

I saw this on the Disney Family Fun Page using feathers. I thought we'd give it a try with Popsicle sticks from the dollar store. We went on a shopping spree with only a few dollars to spend to get supplies. When I saw the sticks, I decided that they would have to do. That's the best advice I give, 'Go with the flow'. We'll recycle and use the sticks in other projects

Supplies:

Leaves or Construction Paper

Hot Glue
Paper Cups
Craft Sticks
Markers
Popcorn

Glue sticks to front of the cup in a fan or tail pattern. Hot Glue works best.

Draw a face and gobbler on the construction paper.

Glue to the front of the cup itself or onto another stick.

Amanda, age 2, drew this face by herself!
She told me where to glue each stick.
