Fall Party Printable: Fun Ideas to Fight Colds
Traditionally, back to school time is August or September, but now that many schools have moved to a year around calendar, back to school time can happen in the fall, winter, and spring. After a busy back to school season, we enjoyed a nice fall break. Fall break in October often means heading back to a school full of colds and flu. That's never fun! We wanted to prep for the back to school cold season and say goodbye to summer, so we had a fall theme back-to-school party. Scroll down to find some fun ideas to decorate and host a fall party. Enjoy!
Back to school time is time for a new routine. New routines bring stress and though it is fun to be back with friends at school, it means getting exposed to new germs our friends carry. Get ahead of germs and guard against illnesses by stocking up on items that help the family feel better when sickness strikes. When you get tired and run down, you are more likely to fall victim to colds.
So, for our party we decided to give away some unusual treat bags. They weren't your typical goodie bags. We had bags of candy and fun toys for the kids who attended our party, but we also had a few prize buckets for the adults and parents!
We filled a cardboard bucket with all of the great items pictured above. Then, we handed all of the adults at our party a little goodie bag filled with candy, an Emergen-C pack, and Chapstick. Inside two of the goodie bags, we included these fun free printables. The winner got the prize bucket pictured below and the runner up got a bottle of Centrum® Multi-benefit Multi-Gummies@ for adults.

We filled our goodie bags with Advil PM®, Centrum® Multi-benefit Multi-Gummies@ for adults, Robitussin® DM Max Nighttime, Emergen-C®, and ChapStick® in a variety of fun flavors. We also packed in a happy pumpkin candle to keep with our fall party theme.

Our party giveaway bucket included:
We had tons of our homeschool friends over for a hayride and a weenie roast! It was so much fun, but most of our guests arrived after dark. We took lots of pictures, but they all turned out the same- just some lights in the night! Good thing we decorated with Tiki torches all around the party area. It was a great way to light the party in a festive way.
To prep the decorations for the party tablescape, we went with purple to liven up the fall color scheme. Purple is a great contrast to the orange pumpkins and the Centrum® MultiGummies®. Add a tabletop tiki torch for after dark and the mood is set. To keep the food safe, we set up a food table in our rec room.

Before the party, hop over to Walmart and pick up all the supplies for your event. We found all of the goodies for the giveaway in the pharmacy aisles. The goodie buckets, cups, and table cloths are in the party section of the store- next to the gift bags. You can even find gourds and Indian Corn for the table decor.
