Easy Tyson Chicken Nugget Sliders.

First, we headed to Walmart to purchase Tyson Chicken Nuggets. 

As a part of the Project A+™ program, we wanted to present a simple solution that helps make your "Back to School" journey easier. These mini nugget sliders are great for an after-school snack or a quick dinner. They make a snack that is truly fun to eat! Best of all, when you purchase Tyson products, you can help your school!
Participation in the Tyson Project A+™ program is a simple way for your school to get extra cash for whatever it needs. Once your school is enrolled, an administrator or designated parent can collect labels and submit them to Tyson Foods (100 labels minimum). Upon verification, Tyson Foods will then send a check directly to the school within 4 to 6 weeks.

How to Make Mini Chicken Sliders

Prepare Tyson nuggets, either in the Oven or the Microwave. Take a hot dog bun, and slice it into 3 sections. Then, place a Tyson Nugget inside each "bun". We added a pickle and ketchup. 

Poof! Sesame Street's, Amazing Mumford, would present this with: "A-la Mini-Chicken Sandwiches!"

Chicken Nugget Sliders are fun to eat.

Sister is upset she missed the snack. He cleaned his plate! 

That's okay, we just threw a few in the microwave.

Though we currently homeschool, we nominated our old school, Robey Elementary. Robey is a fantastic school that nurtures children and offers many opportunities for gifted students.



Even though we were moving from the district, my son was still offered the opportunity to attend the gifted program.

As a preschooler attending their preschool program, they quickly recognized his strengths and often allowed him to work and play at his own pace. In kindergarten, once again his abilities were nurtured. Then, in first and second grade, he was able to study his special interests in more depth. This kept him interested in school, as he was beginning to hate it due to boredom.

"I already know that." And, he did... We're so thankful the school was paying attention.

We headed to Walmart for a great value on pack-able lunch items. All good school lunches deserve Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish Crackers! These are always are go to snack for after school snacks. Their back-to-school bins are full of things you'll need from school supplies to fun snacks to hand sanitizers. So, we grabbed some Wet Ones® Individual packs too. They make it easy for kids to clean their hands after messy food, and they kill 99.9% of germs.

Quick Breakfast on the way to School:
If you are in need of Fast Food before school, but don't have the time or money to make a run to a restaurant- make your own! If you are running late or heading on a road trip, pack a fast breakfast.

We grabbed a lunch bag and filled it with individual Wet Ones, a banana, fruit snacks, juice pack, and a pancake on a stick (you can also use corn dogs). The corn dog or walking pancake microwaves in less than a minute. Wrap it it a paper towel, and toss it in the lunch bag. The kids can enjoy "breakfast" on the way to school.

Easy breakfast ideas kids will eat: Mini Corn Dogs.

State Fair Mini Corn Dogs are easy to make. We toasted ours in the toaster oven in under 15 minutes, but they also taste great when microwaved. Add some fruit and glass of milk, and you've got a good start to your day. Make your morning easier with Walmart. They offer lots of great value on back to school needs.

Easy Breakfast Ideas.

Mayhem likes to skip breakfast or eat something sweet. She couldn't wait to start her day with mini corn dogs. The cornbread batter kept her sweet tooth at bay. She also loves Jimmy Dean Pancake and Sausage Sticks. They served them for breakfast when she attended kindergarten. Pair them with eggs for a fun breakfast!

Toasted Mini Corn Dogs.

We have several chickens and ducks, so whenever possible, we incorporate eggs into our diet. Scrambling eggs every day can get old plus it is messy and takes up valuable time. We often take a shortcut and scramble our eggs in the microwave!

How to Microwave Eggs

You will need a bowl (they make fancy microwave bowls for this purpose, but it isn't necessary).

Canola Oil Spray (or any spray on oil).

Eggs, Milk, Butter, Salt, and Pepper.

We've tried lots of bowls. Any ceramic bowl will do. Spray the entire inside of the bowl.

Crack your egg directly into the bowl, scramble with a fork, add a splash of milk, and stir to mix.

Use one egg per bowl. When you try to scramble more than one egg at a time, it doesn't work as well and takes more time.

Place the bowl in the microwave on a paper towel.

Microwave for about 40 seconds on high.

Remove from microwave, flip or stir egg and then microwave for additional 15-20 seconds.

Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and butter to taste.

To get in and out quickly, we always use the self-checkout at Walmart.

3. Pop your stick into the middle of one of the pudding cups.

4. Freeze for at least an hour.

5. Enjoy!

Tip: You'll want to warm the cup up with your hands so the pudding will easily slide out. Yes, it really is that easy. It makes a refreshing snack on a hot, summer day. Yum!
