In the story, the little girl is making a Puppy. If you look carefully, you'll see that it's a Christmas stocking. So, we made a similar Christmas puppy stocking out of construction paper. Made from simple shapes, it was super easy paper craft to make!

Looking for a picture of Abraham Lincoln's face? The Abe Lincoln face printable is perfect for a President's Day puppet. Make him a paper bag puppet or a stick puppet to celebrate President's Day with the sixteenth President of the United States, Honest Abe. We're also sharing a fun companion book and a round up of President's activities to do with kids. Enjoy!

Go to our MediaFire page and download the free abe lincoln face printable. You'll also find other President's faces and accessories for paper bag puppets.

Once you've printed out the page, cut out Abraham Lincoln's face following the white line. Then, color in his facial features.

Attach his face to a brown paper bag to make a paper bag puppet, or attach to a stick to make a hand held paper stick puppet.

You can also glue his face to a piece of cardboard, trim to fit, punch holes in his ears, attach a string, and make a traditional mask for President's Day.

Pick up a copy of, "I am Abraham Lincoln" by Brad Meltzer and read it together to learn fun facts about Abe Lincoln.

Recently, I discovered milk can be frozen - just be sure to pour about a cup out to allow for expansion.

My eggs always freeze in the fridge. Except the annoyance of getting the shells off they work just fine. So, I wondered; can you freeze eggs?  We freeze people eggs, why not poultry eggs?

A popular fall theme for school is always the wise old owl. If you are planning an owl themed classroom to welcome the kids back to school, here are some great options to decorate your learning spaces and then start learning with owl curriculum.

Owl Classroom Decorations and Themes

• We have a homeschool Ornithology lesson that teaches all about birds and works for older elementary and middle school students alike. If you are close to Indianapolis, take a field trip to Eagle Creek Park and visit the Earth Discovery Center and Ornithology Center.

How many teeth do little people have?  I feel like we're on our one-hundredth tooth!

I snuck in with a fresh, crispy dollar bill.  When I pushed it under the pillow, it went CRUNCH!

My son awoke, and looked at me. He lifted his pillow.  I checked his temperature pretending not to notice (he's been sick).  "Yep, you've still got a fever. I came in to give you your medicine."

"She didn't come, again!"  "What!? Are you sure?"  "Yes, here's my tooth, and there is no money!"

I'm running out of excuses here, any ideas?  I couldn't get the tooth out from under his pillow. 

"Hey look around maybe it got lost?"  "No!  My tooth is still here."

Then...  I saw the money on the floor. 
"Hey, look there's a dollar under your bed."

"What should I do with my tooth?"  "Save it for me."

The End. 

Wait, no, if you've been counting, we're only at tooth number seven...  maybe eight.

I can't count; I'm still sleepwalking.  Only twenty-two more to go??

"Mom, my friend gets $5 per tooth.  How come the toothfairy only gives me $1?"

That's a good question- How come I only got a quarter?  

"Hmm," I said. "Maybe you get more for the first tooth and less and less each time?"

Silence.
